Project Overview
Desktop Metal is a 3D print production product manufacturer. They have a full line up of printers ranging from personal size to business scale. Their machines are efficient, reducing material waste to make parts more affordable to produce.
The brief was multifaceted; to create polished renders of the product line up for use on web and in print, and to animate the proprietary technology processes. I worked on lighting, texturing and rendering still images of machines, art directing the team and animating the print processes.
