Question Everything

Style Frames

Approach:
Science Channel is an American pay television channel that launched in 1996. Science Channel’s new tagline “Question Everything” calls into question our understanding of reality.

The focus of the narrative of these style frames is on the nascent technology which has the power to simulate our reality. Simulation theory suggests that all of what we think is reality is in fact an artificial simulation. In this concept it is a computer simulation. The apparent disconnect of comparative scale of recognizable objects brings reality into question. Harmless objects are behaving in destructive ways; it seems like our world and yet it doesn’t. The final frame reveals that a mischievous daughter has gained access to her father’s simulation device and is unintentionally wreaking havoc on the reality that we thought we knew.
