Project Overview
The Worlds Championship is the annual professional League of Legends championship tournament hosted by Riot Games and is the grand finale of each season. Teams compete for the champion title and a multi-million-dollar championship prize.
The brief was to create a branded intro to the opening ceremony. I helped design and art direct several bespoke variations of Riot’s iconic fist logo replicating the style and aesthetic of their various game properties. The sequence previewed the themes of Netflix's upcoming original series Arcane. Each logo animation is reflective of the brands' animation language creating an energetic tribute leading into the event's first full-length trailer.
