Project Overview
Applied Materials is a semi-conductor engineering company. The brief was to create a anthemic video showcasing the magic behind the process of producing semi conductor chips. The narrative takes the viewer through an accurate portrayal of the subatomic world of chip production. This 3-minute "We Work Here" video was featured at the 2020 SEMICON West conference during the keynote address, streamed live, and presented on social channels.
This was a large project where I was able to work on multiple components. I designed the typographic callout captions and scale/measurement graphics. I also kit-bashed 3D components to create the mech robots, modeled the final cityscape, and animated and composited the UI elements in the final explosive scenes of particles and cityscape.
